Overall good unit functionality is concern it works

As far as functionality is concern, Wagan 400-Watt Jumpstarterworks. However, the design of the product is mediocre. This product is full of stickers or sticky labels for every switches (absolutely nothing is printed). Even the product logo on the top, right below the handle, is not well made. It’s sticking out around its edges. It only a matter of time before all the stickers come off the unit. Also there is no manual on how to use this unit. I finally had the chance to use this product to jump start my car. It took me a while to figure out why it didn’t work initially. I finally figured out that after clamping the red and black cables onto the car battery, I had to turn on the switch that is located in the back of the unit. The switch label does not tell you what it’s for, only that the sticky label says, “On and Off”. Other than those sticky labels I’ve mentioned here, the product works just as advertised.I like having the security of being able to pump up a tire or jump start my car anywhere, anytime. But my primary reason for purchasing the Power Dome was to provide some power while camping. Using it to charge phone, ipod, etc. So far, it’s working out great.

This outcome came over me functioning properly except because of the career light (which was a loose wire then i fixed it easily). I followed the instructions because of charging then at that time used its power inverter over charge a few small electronics i have. Everything worked bravo. I at that time used it over power a laptop pc then it lasted about 45 minutes. I re-charged it again then left it sit because of about 2 months. My auto armory died because i hadn’t driven it inner 3 weeks so i brought the power wagon out, then it functioned exactly as advertised. Of course it advertises that you can let it sit because of 6 months, but it still has a bravo charge level after jumping the auto so that is a good sign. I wouldn’t recommend the one outcome over anyone looking because of something over run larger appliances (even if they are within the advertised range of wattage) off of because of more than a minute or two. If you’re looking because of a portable armory jumper/light/pump/radio or a little extra power over charge mp3 players or phones (the usb power function is great) while away from civilization (and weight isn’t an issue) than the one is a bravo outcome because of you.
