I disagree with the late 2 review scores. I besides live in NYC, the basement studio apt of a brownstone. When I first affected in 2 years ago, the owners allow me continue the dehumidifier that they maintained down here because they admitted that it get’s humid with the lack of strain circulation. My 3 horizontal slider windows are adjacent and small (3′x2′), and they are altogether position on the same wall at the front of the studio. So, the melody is terrible. There is too no radiators for heating. It’s hot in the summer, cold in the winter, and humid incessantly (but it is very spacious & has a huge walk in closet & a freestanding ventilated laundry room… with the cost it’s worth it 
) I ordered this unit because it was the entirely dual hose ac/dehumidifier/heater that was ideal for me (the Whynter models’ hoses were also big for my window type and you had to remove the 2nd hose in dehumid mode, and the Sunpentown models were too pricey for the BTU’s). I didn’t evening know this exemplar was sold by Amazon, I felt out virtually doing a bing search, Soleus didn’t evening get this model on the website, which went me back to Amazon. It had everthing I wanted at the decently price, merely the reviews stalled my impulses. Afterwards farther inquiry I felt that SoleusAir doesn’t evening have this exact model on the website for some odd reason, simply it has the models below it, the PH4-12R-01 & PH4-10R-01. Wholly the PH4 models are dual hose. I binged the model number, and completely the other online stores that sold it advertised equally dual hose. It isn’t advertised on Amazon as such, and the 1st reviewer, iSkyscraper, who didn’t eve purchase the device doesn’t supporter either. However, iSkyscraper is 100% right about portable units. His insightful info helped me to better understand why I should by this unit… do not buy one without a dual Soleus Air PH4-13R-01 hose. If you are look for a dual hose ac/dehumidifier/heater with cracking BTUs… this is the best you are travelling to induce on Amazon.
