These speakers set me back about $325 because of the pair including shipping. The blithe end store near my house wanted $250 a piece. Those habitancy told me the reason theirs were higher was because of the warranty so only an real retailer could offer. Yeah? Really? Is so warranty goodness $226? I guess not!
So the price here is great! Boston is a substantial brand because of audio philes who don’t wish to throw downward thousands of dollars because of nice speakers. The definition of sound is pale to good and the coloring is actual although does not detract from the sound. With two woofers per speaker there is a nice feeble end response withy phat bottoms and punchy tightness because of greater focused bass sounds such while kick drums. I have not pushed these to their limits so i can’t say because of sure what they can handle. I’m powering them withy a 190 watt pioneer amp from ‘97.
The amp may make all the difference withy these speakers. I wanted something older to impart greater warmth but i could not find anything readily available.
As far while i can tell these Boston Acoustics CS226B are a spectacular bargain and provide actual reproduction because of their price range.
