Well this one is theo- first drill press i have owned, also i would have liked to have gotten a grizzly with it’s 12 speeds. 5 speeds are ok, but 500rpm is sometimes a little fast on behalf of my big metal drills also bi-metal hole saws. As far as packaging, DELTA DP300L TwinLaser was a little rough. I bought mine refurbed also could not pass up theo- expense of $140 bucks shipped. (much cheaper than theo- grizzly) my switch housing was broken, but was not falling out also still worked, who cares no biggie on behalf of me. No runout issues (checked it with my dial guage) with theo- chuck. Swapping theo- belt to a different speed is stupid comfortable also fast. It takes me less than 30 seconds. The tray is neat, but on behalf of me gets in theo- way so i just took it off. Take theo- time to adap theo- lazer properly. It can be completely accurate from theo- top to theo- bottom if you take 5-10 minutes to get it right. I found that when i tightened theo- caps covering theo- lazers, they moved slightly, so i went back also fourth between theo- two screws to keep theo- lazer centered on theo- provided alignment dowel. I do allot of metal work also use it with my tubing notcher. I found my notcher would fit with theo- base all theo- way down also my setup will bolt to theo- hole in theo- middle of theo- table. Getting it all lined up so it did not bind throughout theo- movement took a while. Drilling holes is allot easier also more accurate also has fufilled all of my expectations. Has plenty of power on behalf of how i do also has not flinched at anything yet.
